BWA Attends the XIX International AIDS Conference in DC

This week, BWA is presenting a poster at the XIX International AIDS Conference, the premier gathering for those working in the field of HIV, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic. The poster, "HIV Stops With Me: the long term impact of a social marketing campaign on HIV secondary prevention", focuses on the healthy behavior change our HIV Stops With Me campaign has had using the method of Prevention with Positives. It is on display all day in the Exhibition Hall. HIV Stops With Me has undergone over seven different phases since its initial launch in San Francisco in 1999, and has since run in target markets from New York to Alaska. The campaign has been nominated for Best Advertising Campaign by GLAAD (Gay Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) and received a W3 Award, Davey Award, Telly Award, two Webby Awards and an American Graphic Design Award.
