BWA Campaign Contributes to National Conversation on the Affordable Care Act

BWA's Cover Your Family campaign, featuring presumably nude families covering themselves with signs touting their need for medical insurance, was recently featured in an article by the American Medical News. The article was about the Affordable Care Act's coverage expansions starting in 2014 and the need for health care professionals to consider all those who are already currently eligible for medical coverage but are not enrolled. BWA developed the campaign in collaboration with the Alameda County Social Services Agency to increase enrollment in Medi-Cal, California's Medicaid health insurance program for low-income people.
