BWA Celebrates Gay Pride in New York!

On Sunday June 24th, New York’s LGBT community celebrated another anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots when gay, lesbian and transgender individuals fought back police abuse and persecution. This year, the New York Gay Pride Parade also celebrated the first anniversary of marriage equality in the state as well as what appears to be great progress in LGBT rights as prominent politicians – including New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg and even President Barack Obama – voiced their support to the cause. At the end of the parade route, Better World Advertising shared a booth with GMHC and were joined by HIV Stops With Me campaign spokesmodels - Haynes, Jahlove, and Vivian - who reminded the crowd that you can't ever have a real party without FAITH, HOPE and PRIDE.
