BWA celebrates National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in New York!

To mark the launch of the latest phase of HIV Stops With Me, our New York spokesmodels participated in a community event called ‘Hip Hop will Stop HIV’ sponsored by Iris House on February 7, National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The event took place in Harlem at the Shrine, and featured diverse local artists showcasing their talents while promoting positive messages on combating stigma and increasing safer sex practices. HSWM spokesmodels Haynes, Jalove, Tree and Annette took to the stage and discussed their reasons for joining the campaign and took questions from the audience. Mervin and Meredith from Better World Advertising's New York office staffed a table where HSWM palm cards and postcards were distributed. The event was a major success!
