BWA Creates Website for Leading International Agency Helping LGBTI Refugees

BWA partnered with the Organization for Refugee Asylum and Migration (ORAM) to create a new online resource center for lesbian, gay, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) asylum seekers and refugees in South Africa (http://oramsouthafrica.org/). The site has resources not only for refugees, but also attorneys and those looking to change policy within South Africa.

Based in San Francisco, ORAM is the only international non-governmental organization that focuses exclusively on refugees and asylum seekers fleeing sexual orientation and gender identity-based violence.
