BWA President Presents on Tobacco and Social Marketing
BWA President Les Pappas spoke during the University of California, San Francisco Smoking Cessation Leadership Center webinar held on February 21. Les extended his expertise to an online audience of approximately 600 behavior change professionals about the key aspects of social marketing; what makes an effective campaign; how to best target hard-to-reach populations and some of BWA's most recent anti-tobacco campaigns. Also presenting was Kristin Harms, Communications Manager of the California Smokers' Helpline, on their most recent quit line campaign. Tobacco prevention and cessation campaigns are one of BWA's core competencies and Les was pleased to have the opportunity to share his knowledge on this issue.
