BWA Vaccination Media Campaigns Win Top Awards
Better World Advertising is excited to announce that two of our recent campaigns promoting immunization have won Communicator Awards. "Vaccinations Protect Generations," a campaign we developed for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, won a Silver Communicator Award for Integrated Health and Wellness Campaign. "ImmUnity," a campaign BWA created for the San Francisco Department of Public Health also won a Silver Communicator Award for Integrated Social Responsibility Campaign.
Serious vaccine-preventable diseases such as meningitis and whooping cough are on the rise in the U.S. because adults and children are not receiving recommended vaccinations. These campaigns, which included print ads, Internet banner ads, websites, billboards, posters, TV and radio commercials, helped drive public awareness of the importance of immunization to reverse this trend.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications and honors work that transcends innovation, moves people and makes a lasting impact. The awards are judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.
