Hiring Project Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate, full-time Project Coordinator in our San Francisco office to primarily help support a national tobacco campaign targeting American Indian/Alaskan Native youth. You may not personally be involved with all the responsibilities listed, but are expected to have knowledge and experience in these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of day-to-day aspects of multiple social marketing campaigns
- Conduct formative research to inform creative concepts and media strategies
- Contact vendors to procure quotes and arrange media orders, track placements and gather evaluation measurements
- Assist in focus group planning and edit summary reports
- Write, distribute and conduct follow-up on press releases
- Assist in organizing campaign launch events
- Contribute to new business proposals, maintain social networks and edit campaign documents
- Support internal projects
Skills/Qualifications:
- BA or BS in communications, marketing, advertising, public health or related field
- Recommended 1-2 years experience working on projects in a similar field
- Experience working with minority and at-risk populations
- Experience with American Indian/Alaskan Native populations preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Highly motivated with the desire to succeed
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Passionate commitment to social change
Salary Range $42-$45,000/year with medical/dental, vacation, sick, holiday and 401k.
