Hiring Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a passionate, full-time Senior Project Manager in our San Francisco office to primarily help support a national tobacco campaign targeting American Indian/Alaskan Native youth. You may not personally be involved with all the responsibilities listed, but are expected to have knowledge and experience in these areas.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day aspects of multiple social marketing campaigns
• Develop scopes of work and timelines
• Facilitate meetings with clients, the design team, and Creative Director
• Supervise individuals associated with the project
• Conduct formative research to inform creative concepts and media strategies 
• Contact vendors to procure quotes and arrange media orders, track placements and gather evaluation measurements
• Plan and facilitate focus groups to test campaign concepts and write summary reports
• Write, distribute and conduct follow-up on press releases
• Organize campaign launch events
• Facilitate the recruiting of models and coordinating photo/video shoots
• Contribute to new business proposals
• Support the maintenance of company social networks
• Write evaluation reports, focus group reports, and other campaign and reporting documents
• Support internal projects

Skills/Qualifications:

• BA or BS in communications, marketing, advertising, public health or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Recommended 3-5 years experience working on projects in a similar field, including advertising or public relations
• 3-5 years experience supervising individuals
• Experience working with minority and at-risk populations 
• Experience with American Indian/Alaskan Native populations preferred 
• Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Highly motivated with the desire to succeed
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Passionate commitment to social change

 Salary Range $70-$80,000/year with medical/dental, vacation, sick, holiday and 401k.
