Expect Fentanyl

Goal: 
The primary goal of this campaign was to support substance use prevention among opioid users or those at risk of potentially taking fentanyl-laced substances in the County of Santa Clara. The campaign’s secondary goals were to improve knowledge about fentanyl and its effects, raise awareness of the dangers posed by counterfeit tablets, pills, and gel capsules attempting to mimic certain prescription drug; increase the use of Naloxone and increase help-seeking behavior.

Goal: 
To reduce stigma and raise awareness of how to more productively view and assist those with addiction and other behavioral health issues.

Fentanyl Takes Friends (Part 2)

Goal: 
To raise awareness about the risk of overdose and death from unknowingly ingesting drugs including heroin, meth, cocaine, and ecstasy, that have been laced with the powerful synthetic opioid fentanyl; and to educate the priority population about harm reduction strategies (never use alone, knowing the source when acquiring drugs, and having access to NARCAN)

Goal: 
To raise awareness about overdoses and deaths from unknowingly ingesting fentanyl mixed into drugs such as cocaine, meth, ecstasy, and heroine; and to educate people on harm reduction strategies (never use alone, knowing the source of drugs, and having access to NARCAN)

Don't Take The Vape

Goal: 
To raise awareness among adolescents ages 12-17 about the adverse health risks vaping (THC, nicotine, or flavorings) has on their bodies, to either prevent initiation or provide resources to quit.

Goal: 
Primary prevention campaign to raise awareness in young adults about the adverse health risks and consequences that come from opioid misuse/abuse, and the benefits of choosing a drug free life

Goal: 
Provide constructive messages/motivation for parents to discuss substance use with their children, increasing the proportion of teenagers who avoid/postpone use

Marijuana is Not for Pregnancy

Goal: 
Raise awareness about the potential health risks posed to infants exposed to marijuana use during pregnancy

Wasted on Weed

Goal: 
To encourage teens to stay away from marijuana in order to improve their opportunities as adults. It calls attention to the effects that too much marijuana use can have on a teen’s brain development and the impact it can have on their future potential.
