I COVID Quit

Goal:
To raise awareness of the additional COVID risks associated with smoking, the higher mortality rate of smokers with behavioral health/substance use issues and the benefits to mental health and sobriety associated with quitting smoking, with the ultimate goal of smoking cessation among the population of focus.

To prevent smoking initiation by teens in Sonoma County
Results:
90% of 13-17 year olds interviewed thought the campaign was memorable and 70% felt the campaign would prevent others their age from starting to smoke. 80% were less likely to buy or smoke a tobacco product.
